Bespoke oak porch for a barn conversion
Our skilled tradesmen recently completed a bespoke oak porch on a property in Lydford, which kept in line with the existing barn.
To make it look like it has always been there, we set the porch on saddle stones and used locally sourced reclaimed ‘Triple Roman Roof Tiles’ to give that natural and aged effect. We formed the porch on site and our carpenter and roofer fitted the tiles and dressed the lead where the new porch joined the existing barn.
Whilst working on the project we were also asked by our customer to make some light fittings out of reclaimed fruit machine reels and install them through the oak beams in the kitchen. Our in-house electrician completed these works creating a unique lighting feature for their barn conversion.
If you would like to investigate how to add an authentic porch onto your existing home by one of our experienced carpenters or to include some bespoke features, please get in touch today to find out how we can help you. Just call the office on 01749 344155 or email enquiries@3solutionsltd.co.uk
